If I were to implement any of the ideas from ThinkQuest in my classroom I would use the Comic Book: The Social Impact.  I think kids would enjoy this topic and it would be easy to make into an enjoyable writing assignment.

    This project is a wonderful way to bridge students out of school interests with learning in school!
